RPG and COBOL Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support applications written inRPG IV (ILE/Free format)andCOBOLon theIBM iSeries (AS/400)platform.
  
• Analyze, design, and implement program changes to enhance business processes related tofreight management, routing, dispatch, warehousing, and scheduling.
  
• Work closely with business analysts and end users to understand requirements and translate them into functional code.
  
• Support daily batch jobs and data interfaces between internal and external systems.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Document system modifications, technical processes, and procedures.
  
• Participate in system modernization initiatives, including potential migrations from legacy platforms.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Experience inRPG (RPG IV, ILE, Free Format)andCOBOL.
  
• Knowledge ofIBM iSeries (AS/400)
  
• Hands-on experience withbatch and real-time processing.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
