About

    TheDirector,MEPProcurement&Logisticsisresponsiblefortheoverallleadership,strategy,andperformanceofthecompany'sMechanical,Electrical,andPlumbing(MEP)procurementandlogisticsfunctions.Thispositionprovidesenterprise-wideleadershipforsourcing,suppliermanagement,procurementoperations,equipmentlogistics,projectdeliverysupport,andsupplychainriskmanagementacrossalldevelopment,construction,andoperationalprojects.TherolecombinesthestrategicprocurementleadershipdescribedwithintheSeniorMEPProcurementManagerpositionwiththeoperationalandprojectexecutionleadershipresponsibilitiesoftheSeniorLogisticsProjectManager.

    TheDirectorisaccountablefordevelopingandimplementinglong-termprocurementandlogisticsstrategiesthatsupportorganizationalgrowth,improvetotalcostofownership,mitigatesupplychainrisk,andensuresuccessfulexecutionofcriticalMEPinfrastructureprojects.ThisindividualservesastheexecutiveleaderforallMEPprocurementandlogisticspersonnelandisresponsibleforbuildingscalableprocesses,developingtalent,establishingsupplierpartnerships,anddrivingoperationalexcellenceacrosstheenterprise.

    Asthesenior-mostleaderoftheMEPProcurementandLogisticsorganization,thispositionholdsultimateaccountabilityforsupplierstrategy,procurementexecution,logisticsperformance,projectdeliverysupport,andcontinuousimprovementacrosstheenterprise.

    Theroleactsastheexecutivebridgebetweenbusinessunits,projectteams,andleadership,aligningprocurementandlogisticsstrategieswithcapitalprojectobjectives,operationalrequirements,andlong-termcorporategrowthinitiatives.

Responsibilities

    ORGANIZATIONALRESPONSIBILITY:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • StrategicLeadership:

    • Developandexecutethecompany'senterprise-wideMEPprocurementandlogisticsstrategy.

    • Establishlong-termsourcing,suppliermanagement,andlogisticsroadmapsthatsupportorganizationalgrowthandcapitalprojectobjectives.

    • Alignprocurementandlogisticsinitiativeswithdevelopment,construction,facilitiesmanagement,andcorporatebusinessgoals.

    • Serveastheexecutivesponsorforcriticalequipmentprocurementandlogisticsprograms.

    • Leadstrategicplanningactivitiesrelatedtosupplychainresiliency,supplierdiversification,andoperationalscalability.

    • Participateinexecutiveleadershipplanning,budgeting,forecasting,andbusinessgrowthinitiatives.

    • Developannualdepartmentobjectives,performancetargets,andstrategicinitiatives.

    • ProcurementLeadership:

    • ProvideexecutiveoversightofallMEPsourcing,procurement,andsuppliermanagementactivities.

    • Approveprocurementstrategiesformajorelectricalandmechanicalequipmentcategoriesincludingswitchgear,transformers,generators,UPSsystems,chillers,coolingsystems,pumps,andrelatedinfrastructureequipment.

    • Leadexecutive-levelsuppliernegotiations,frameworkagreements,strategicsourcinginitiatives,andcommercialriskmanagementefforts.

    • Directcategorymanagementstrategiesandapprovedsuppliergovernanceprograms.

    • Overseesupplierqualification,performancemanagement,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.

    • Reviewandapprovemajorsourcingrecommendations,supplierawards,andprocurementcommitments.

    • Ensureprocurementpolicies,procedures,andcontrolsareconsistentlyappliedacrosstheorganization.

    • Drivetotalcostofownershipimprovementsthroughstrategicsourcingandsupplieroptimizationinitiatives.

    • Logistics&ProjectDeliveryLeadership:

    • ProvidestrategicoversightforallOFCIandCFCIequipmentlogisticsactivitiesfrompurchaseorderexecutionthroughprojectcloseout.

    • Establishenterpriselogisticsstandards,deliverystrategies,andprojectexecutionprocesses.

    • Overseeprojectportfolioperformanceincludingscheduleadherence,budgetmanagement,commissioningreadiness,andsupplierperformance.

    • Directresolutionofcriticalprojectdelivery,logistics,commissioning,andsupplychainchallenges.

    • Ensuresuccessfulcoordinationbetweenprocurement,logistics,construction,development,andcommissioningteams.

    • Leadrecoveryplanningeffortsformajorequipmentdelays,supplydisruptions,orprojectexecutionrisks.

    • Developscalablelogisticsprocessesandreportingsystemsthatsupportportfoliogrowth.

    • SupplierRelationship&ExternalPartnerManagement:

    • Ownexecutive-levelrelationshipswithstrategicMEPequipmentmanufacturers,distributors,integrators,andserviceproviders.

    • Conductexecutivebusinessreviewswithcriticalsuppliers.

    • Establishsupplierperformanceexpectations,accountabilityframeworks,andimprovementplans.

    • Leadsupplierescalationanddisputeresolutionactivities.

    • Developstrategicpartnershipsthatimprovepricing,leadtimes,capacityaccess,servicelevels,and

    innovationopportunities.

    • Monitorsupplierriskprofilesandimplementmitigationstrategies.

    • FinancialManagement:

    • Developandmanagedepartmentalbudgets,operatingplans,andresourceforecasts.

    • Provideexecutiveoversightofprocurementspend,equipmentcommitments,cashflowforecasting,andlogisticsexpenditures.

    • Reviewmajorcontractcommitmentsandfinancialexposures.

    • Leadcostreduction,valueengineering,andprocurementoptimizationinitiatives.

    • Developexecutivedashboardsandreportingregardingprocurementperformance,logisticsperformance,suppliermetrics,andprojectfinancialstatus.

    • PartnerwithFinanceonannualbudgetingandlong-rangeplanning.

    • TeamLeadership&TalentDevelopment:

    • Recruit,develop,mentor,andretainhigh-performingprocurementandlogisticsprofessionals.

Education & Experience

    • Bachelor'sdegreeinEngineering,ConstructionManagement,SupplyChainManagement,BusinessAdministration,Logistics,orrelatedfieldpreferred.

    • 8-10+yearsofprogressiveexperienceinprocurement,logistics,supplychain,constructionmanagement,projectdelivery,orrelateddisciplines.

    • 5+yearsofleadershipexperiencemanagingprocurement,logistics,projectmanagement,orsupplychainteams.

    • Demonstratedexperienceoverseeinglarge-scaledatacenter,mission-critical,industrial,healthcare,advancedmanufacturing,orcommercialconstructionprograms.

    • Proventrackrecordmanagingmultimillion-dollarprocurementportfoliosandsupplieragreements.

    • Extensiveexperiencewithdatacenterelectricalandmechanicalinfrastructuresystems.

    • Experienceleadingenterpriseprocurementtransformations,supplychainorganizations,orlogisticsfunctions.
